Typical porous resin mould lifetime exceeds 60,000 casting cycles; with optimized geometry and stable process conditions, more than 100,000 cycles are achievable.
Casting warranty
Castimo provides a casting warranty of 20,000 cycles per supplied porous resin mould set under correct operating and maintenance conditions.
Care & maintenance
With CASTIDUR we offer an effective cleaning agent against slip and lime residues keeping pore systems open and extending mould life.

Reliable mould development means looking at the complete production chain not just the tool. Our development work takes into account raw materials, slip recipe, the casting machine, different material suppliers and the downstream production steps. This is how we deliver moulds that perform reliably under real production conditions, with consistently high quality.
On request, we also offer slip recipe development as a separate service — adjusting rheology, casting behaviour and solid content to your raw materials and your casting process.
