A smart drying solution with digital process integration. The product drying system is digitally controllable to ensure uniform, optimised drying of sanitaryware and to minimise defects such as cracking, warping and surface imperfections.
Process Knowledge
After demoulding from the casting line, sanitaryware still carries free and physically bound water. If this moisture leaves the body unevenly, differential shrinkage builds internal stress the root cause of drying cracks, warping and hidden defects that only surface in the kiln.
A properly dimensioned drying system controls all three drying variables temperature, relative humidity and air velocity along a product-specific curve. The result: uniform moisture release, stable geometry and a predictable, low residual moisture at kiln entry. That is what makes firing results repeatable, shift after shift.
In the end, what counts is how many saleable products leave the line. Every defect avoided in drying is a finished product on the shipping pallet drying quality directly drives the plant’s yield and its real output.
